Butterfly Pavilion
During my second year as an architecture student, I successfully executed a project called the Butterfly Pavilion as part of my Fundamental Structure course. The inspiration for its name came from the pavilion's distinctive folded triangular structure, resembling the wings of a butterfly.
Situated within Bangkok's Rachathewi district, the Butterfly Pavilion finds its home in Chalermla Park, an expansive urban park and vibrant outdoor artspace. To provide a visual representation, the hand-drawn site plan on the right showcases the layout and features of the park.

Included here are both the plan and long section of the Butterfly Pavilion. This captivating structure stands tall at a height of 7 meters, while extending with a length of 12.3 meters and a width of 8 meters.
Physical Model
The physical model of the Butterfly Pavilion was created at a 1:50 scale using balsa wood as the main material.

Throughout the duration of this project, I gained valuable experience in constructing a robust structure and translating a digital Rhino 3D model into a tangible physical model.
